The Paschal Cheerleaders are State Champions!!
On Jan. 14, 2023, they competed in the UIL Spirit State Championships against over 75 other teams in 6A Div. II.
After making finals early in the afternoon, they were one of the last to compete in finals round. After about an hour of waiting for the awards announcements, the team was first awarded a superlative for having the Highest Score for the Crowd Leading (cheer) section of the routine, having scored 88.3 out of a possible 90 points. In itself, a great accomplishment!!! But they weren't done yet!

After announcing last year's champion in second place this year, the call finally came. The Varsity from Fort Worth Paschal is the 6A Div. II State Champion!!!

After months of hard work, tweaking and fine tuning their routine, all while continuing to support our other sports, this team has finally achieved the ultimate recognition: Becoming the first FWISD team to win the UIL Spirit State Championship!!
