John Killough

Coach Killough is entering his 3rd year at R.L. Paschal High School and marks his 19th year coaching. Coach Killough spent the previous 8 years as the Associate Head Football Coach / Offensive Coordinator at The Colony High School where he helped lead a program to 7 consecutive playoff appearances after only 2 playoff appearances in the school’s prior history. Prior to The Colony, Coach Killough spent 5 years at Flower Mound Marcus, 2 years at La Marque High School where he was a member of the 2006 4A Division 2 State Championship team, and 1 year at Tidehaven High School.

Coach Killough graduated from Italy High School in Italy, Texas in 1999. He went on to the University of Mary Hardin Baylor where he earned his BS in Mathematics, and was a member of the first football American Southwest Conference Championship in school history. He also earned his Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in the spring of 2020.

“I believe in the community at Paschal High School, the student athletes and administration of Paschal High School. I look forward to an exciting season of Panther Football and want to encourage our city to come out and support not only the football program, but all programs at Paschal High School.  Our athletes understand what a privilege it is to represent their city, and they work extremely hard to represent the community the right way.”

The Killough family includes my wonderful wife of 17 years, Amanda, a teacher at Flower Mound Freshman Campus in LISD, and my amazing 10-year-old twins Case and Peyton. In my off time I enjoy sports, and traveling with my family.
